This Nahavand rug is hand-knotted kork wool, circa 1970.
It measures 163 cm wide by 306 cm long.
This piece is in perfect condition: pile, selvedges, and fringes.
A soft and lustrous wool characterizes these rugs, giving them a beautiful thickness and exceptional comfort.
This wool lends the motifs and designs of these rugs a strong personality and a striking presence in a room.

These rugs are very durable, often featuring a rectilinear design, partially inspired by ancient nomadic rugs.
Some, like our model, have softer, rounder shapes and intricate decorations.
A prominent medallion is located in the center of the rug in most cases.
The finish includes fringes at one end and a kilim-style edge at the other.
They are knotted with strong, thick, lustrous yarn, often dyed with natural dyes and spun in The hand.
This yarn provides a durable surface and a beautiful color palette.
