A tall (59 cm) ceramic vase signed Jaget Pinon – Tours. Its slender baluster shape with stylized geometric handles accentuates its highly decorative silhouette. The glossy duck-egg blue glaze is enhanced by a superb gilt floral design depicting irises and their long leaves, rendered in a Japanese/Art Nouveau style. The contrast between the dark background and the gold motifs gives this vase a very elegant presence, ideal as a centerpiece on a piece of furniture, a console table, or on the floor. A beautiful collector's item or decorative piece.
