A very beautiful Indian domestic altar known as a "Mandir," in the form of a throne (Singhasan).
Origin: Rajasthan, India.
It is made of beautifully carved wood with some red highlights and a small compartment on the side closed by a sliding wooden panel.
Circa 1880. Dimensions: Height: 31 cm x Width: 37.5 cm x Depth: 23 cm.
Good overall condition, some minor wear to the wood.
