beautiful Empire gilt wood frame.
Much refined painting, scrupulous details depiction : fruits and flowers that seem to be in relief, the flys to be alive, the marble sparkle, the delicate work on the flowers colours. Out painting is attributed to a follower of French painter Gerard van Spaendonck (of Dutch origins).
