"Silver Girandole Pendant With Sparkling Crystals, 19th Century"
This pendant is spectacular due to its large size, brilliance, and the craftsmanship of its setting. Entirely set with sparkling crystals or rhinestones, a stylized foliate knot motif is surmounted by a large round gemstone surrounded by two circles and supports a large, mobile, pear-shaped pendant.
Its long bail allows for the passage of a velvet ribbon or a heavy chain. The reverse is almost as beautiful!
A so-called "girandole" style, inspired by the 17th century, it dates from the 19th century and is hallmarked with a boar's head.
