Portrait of a young noblewoman in pastel. 18th century, she wears a powdered wig and a rich dress fashionable during the reign of Louis XVI. This lovely pastel on paper mounted on canvas is presented in its original giltwood frame. As you can see in the photos, it shows some signs of dampness and a small chip in the paper in the upper left corner. It may need some restoration, but in my opinion, it can be hung as is. It does not have glass. Additional photos available upon request. Dimensions with frame: 67 cm x 57 cm. Dimensions of the canvas alone: 55.50 cm x 47 cm.
