Portrait Of King Louis XV (1710-1774) Oil On Canvas Eighteenth flag

Object description :

"Portrait Of King Louis XV (1710-1774) Oil On Canvas Eighteenth"
Very nice portrait of Louis XV, 18th century on his original canvas.

The painting is "in its juice" with a very slight lack of material on the left arm.
A small cleaning would allow them to find the original thieves under the varnish which has a little yellowed.
There are some old little visible repaints and a horizontal crack at the top of the painting without consequence.

The golden wood frame, as you can see in the photos, is 20th.

Format with frame: 56 cm x 45.50 cm.
Visual format: 41.50 cm x 30.50 cm.

Louis XV also said "the Beloved" was born in Versailles on 15 February 1710 and died in Versailles on 10 May 1774.
He is a member of the House of Bourbons.
His great-grandfather was Louis XIV and his grandson Louis XVI.
His wife was Marie Leczinska. They had 10 children.
Louis XV had several mistresses including Madame de Pompadour and Madame du Barry.

Photos are taken in natural light.
Neat packaging.
Shipping costs at the expense of the buyer.
