2 Romantic Children's Portraits 19th Century Charles X Miniature Little Boy Little Girl Round Frame
Charming pair of watercolor drawings representing the portrait of two children in the 19th century, Restoration or Charles X period. They are not signed but of good quality and great finesse. They are presented in their original frames, in metal, certainly in bronze, with their original glass. Note a slight chip on the edge of the glass of the little girl. I have not opened them, they are in their own juice. The young girl wears the hairstyle fashionable under the 1st Empire, but I place these 2 portraits a little later, during the reign of Charles X or Louis Philippe.
