Pair of mirrors with mythological figures, in shaped giltwood frames carved with openwork rocaille, small flowers, acanthus leaves, and scrolls.

The mirror plates are engraved with scenes depicting Diana the Huntress, dressed in a short tunic and carrying a bow, accompanied by a hunting dog. Diana is the goddess of the hunt, wild nature, and the Moon. The second mirror depicts Mercury holding the caduceus—the messenger god, associated with commerce, travelers, thieves, and eloquence.

Overall in good general condition; oxidation to the glass, a few small losses and signs of repair (see photos).
