A striking porcelain punch bowl inspired by the patriotic “American Eagle” designs of 18th-century Canton export porcelain. The eagle spreads its wings across the body, clutching an olive branch and arrows, while a ring of thirteen stars floats above. The border features a cobalt-blue and gilt vine frieze repeated inside the bowl.
Such reproductions, marked with pattern number 7595, were made in the early 20th century to honour the neoclassical and Federal imagery of early American decorative arts. Elegant and historically resonant, this bowl brings both symmetry and presence to refined interiors.
