They consist of a horizontal bar supported by two scrolled feet, reminiscent of modernized Renaissance ironwork.
This is probably foreign work, perhaps Italian, from the early 20th century.
The knife rests are in their original case.
Each knife rest is hallmarked with a swan, a later French hallmark.
This set of knife rests is very elegant thanks to the almost tangled scrollwork formed by the feet, which lends a great lightness coupled with a definite decorative effect.
Approximately 9.5 cm long. There are differences in length, indicating artisanal silversmithing.
