"Art Deco Lorraine Vase, Wrought Iron Frame - Daum"
Beautiful Art Deco period vase attributed to the Lorrain glassworks (a subsidiary of Daum) illustrating the know-how in combining the work of blown glass and wrought iron during the years 1925-1930. The glass is a superb multi-layer blown marbled in warm and vivid tones, characteristic of Lorraine production. It is firmly inserted in a wrought iron frame patinated by time with a slight surface oxidation. A trace of partial handwritten signature is visible, consistent with the stylistic attribution to Lorrain. A beautiful vase with a height of 27 cm with an opening diameter of 18 cm. High quality manufacture with handwritten signature in gilded enamel partially erased by time. The vase is in perfect condition
