Large Archaic Mumuye Statue
Large Mumuye statue, said to be archaic, with this kind of large overflowing helmet (ears) and arms stuck to the body. Very hard and heavy wood, curved, directly carved from a branch or a root, significant height 101 cm, beautiful patina of use and sacrifice, crusty in places, white and black. Former Belgian Serge Sheer collection.
