Original frame. Nelly Stulz is a self-taught painter born in Strasbourg in 1892 and died in Oberhausbergen in 1969. She attended the École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg and was also a student of her father, the remarkable miniaturist Gustave Adolphe Stulz.
