"Adjustable Table By Charlotte Perriand, Les Arcs, Circa 1973"
Lift-and-lower table designed by Charlotte Perriand for the Nova and Lauzières residences in Les Arcs 1800, in the French Alps, circa 1973. The square top is made of solid laminated pine, resting on a cruciform base in black lacquered metal. Thanks to a jack system, the height can be adjusted from 53 cm to 75 cm, allowing for modular use, both as a coffee table and a dining table.
This piece of furniture illustrates Charlotte Perriand's approach in Les Arcs: to offer a functional, robust design adapted to mountain life.
