PAIR OF OFFICER'S STIRRUPS, First Empire. 32219 In chased and gilded cast bronze. Each branch of the stirrup is molded in a spiral, finished at its end by acanthus leaves and joined together at the top by an eyelet. Round openwork top decorated on the edges with a series of vertical lines; it is openwork in its center and the top is striated for attaching boots. Top Ø 10 cm, width with branches 14 cm, H 14.2 cm. France. First Empire. Very good condition, gilding partly rubbed on the protruding parts.
