SWORD BELT FOR A MARÉCHAL DES LOGIS OR A TROMPETTE IN THE MOUNTED GRENADIERS OR THE DRAGONS OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, First Empire. 33797
Rectangular brass belt plate for a non-commissioned officer, H 8.5 cm, width 9 cm without the curve, width 10 cm with the curve, with the four corners cut at an angle. Central motif depicting a flaming bomb, cast in brass, H 6 cm. Complete with its trigger guard and rear hook.
Belt made of bleached buffalo leather with stitched edges. Consists of three strips (each strip 6.7 cm wide and 16.5 cm long, 20 cm, and 44 cm) (with a 38 cm loop) connected by two brass rings (outer diameter of each ring 5.56 cm, thickness 5 mm). Suspension straps made of bleached buffalo leather with stitched edges, 3.5 cm wide, 31.5 cm and 63 cm long; they are fitted with rectangular brass buckles.
