"Candlesticks Vestal Napoléon III"
Very fine pair of candelabras from the Napoleon
III period circa 1860. Set of very fine quality consisting of a
patinated bronze sculpture decorated with a vestal supporting, with one
shoulder, an antique vase extended by the large candlestick. In gilded
bronze, imposing candlestick with five lights, each branch is decorated
with a doubled chain. The cups are decorated with engraving on the top
and below with chiseled motifs. Each candle holder is equipped with
original and removable wax protection, and a snuffer at the top. Solid
square base in Carrara marble underlined by a bronze string outline.
