Clock Portico Carrara Marble Watchmaker : Camelin
Very elegant Louis XVI style portico clock, from the Napoleon IIIperiod, signed Camelin, a clockmaker listed in the Tardy dictionary ofFrench clockmakers. Made of white Carrara marble, it features fourcolumns with a base and capitals. High-quality gilt bronzeornamentation featuring a large garland and a cascade of flowers,embellished with rows of pearls, foliage, and numerous flower vasesframed by two openwork balustrades. Large, domed white enamel dialdecorated with floral garlands, accompanied by finely crafted gilthands and protected by domed glass. The space between the columns isanimated by a beautiful sunburst pendulum.
