"The Ascent To Calvary - 17th Century "
A touching Flemish School of the 17th century, this carrying of the Cross. The suffering Christ is here in vivid colors. Oval in shape, this oil is on oak panel with two vertical boards in a wooden frame and gilded stucco with palmette motifs Dimensions of 35.5 cm by 27 cm Dimensions with frame of 49 cm by 40 cm Provenance Charles de Montherot collection according to an old label completed with two collection wax seals, one of which has a coat of arms surmounted by a crown.
Note small losses and accidents.
