Beautiful Colima figurine in pre-Lombardian terracotta, pale orange with black dotted patina spots.
The anthropomorphic subject stands, both arms crossed on his chest. Detailed face, hairdo, wearing earrings. He is wearing a loincloth covering his legs. Smooth back.
Old restorations. Slight lack on the right foot.

Colima figurines were modeled by hand. They represent scenes from the daily life of this civilization. Comes from an old private collection dispersed, then a French primitive art gallery.
