Authentic reliquary in silver worked in filigree, decorated with volutes, fleurons and small metal beads, typical of Italian work of the 18th century.
Description
In the center, under glass, is presented a relic inserted on a background of gilded silk with paperolle decorations, accompanied by the handwritten name cartouche: S. Margaritæ de Corton.It is a relic of Saint Margaret of Cortona (1247-1297), Tuscan Franciscan tertiary, canonized in 1728 by Benedict XIII, often invoked as patron saint of penitents and people in search of spiritual conversion.
On the reverse, the relic is sealed with silk threads and a red ecclesiastical wax seal, perfectly preserved, guaranteeing the authenticity of the relic.

Good condition general, with light wear from use.
