Elegant oval-shaped embossed silver reliquary, adorned with rich floral decoration in high relief, including roses, tulips and finely chiseled foliage.
Description
In the upper part, a medallion depicts a bust in relief, likely that of Saint Vincent de Paul, to whom the relic is dedicated.The central cavity, highlighted by a silver filigree surround, presents a precious relic inserted under a domed crystal.
It is protected by two crossed golden wires in the shape of a cross, fixed by a red wax seal on the back of the reliquary, attesting to the authenticity and unopenedness of the reliquary.
A handwritten label clearly indicates the name of the saint: S. Vincent de P. (Saint Vincent de Paul).
The whole is presented in its original case, lined with velvet and red silk, with a brass clasp.
