Object in perfect condition without cracks or chips. There is just a slight chip visible from below on the edge of the foot, difficult to locate when the vase is placed.
On one side, a large golden motif composed of a bird with outstretched wings surrounded by two curved laurel branches. It is topped with a knotted ribbon, two falling sides of which are inserted into a wreath of flowers elegantly decorated with green and brown touches.
On the other side, a smaller golden motif, just as neat, composed of a laurel branch subtly drawn in an S.
The rest of the vase is dotted with other curved laurel branches in reduction.
The edge of the base is surrounded by a band of shiny gold while the flat is decorated with a frieze of laurel leaves on a bluish-grey background circled on both sides in matte gold.
Under the base we note the presence of the golden stamp of the manufacture, the letters JP framing a tower underlined by the word France.
The neck takes up the same design as the base, with a wide bluish-grey band decorated with a large frieze of flowers and leaves circled this time in shiny gold.
The alternation of shiny gold and matte gold, the discreet presence of colors are the mark of the extreme care taken in the decoration of this piece and the finesse of execution.
Its great originality lies in its color. While the vast majority of the production of the Jaget-Pinon manufacture is a blue called "Tours", "Sèvres" or "oven," we discover here a rare "petroleum blue" softer and which contrasts much less with the gilding.
Elegance and softness are the terms that best characterize this large vase which will bring an additional refinement to your interior.
