"Enamel Centerpiece, 3-tiered Limoges Enamel Serving Tray By R. Bonhomme"
Very rare presentation dish or centerpiece in Limoges enamel. This exceptional servant called "porte - douceurs" is composed of three dishes of different diameters and superimposed on three levels. It rests on a pretty gilded brass base in rocaille style and is finished at its end with a loop-shaped handle. Each dish is decorated around its edge with a beautiful decoration of arabesques, cabochons and pearls on a brown-orange background. This magnificent piece of form comes from the workshops of René Bonhomme (1927 - 2007), famous Master enameller in Limoges known for the high quality of his work. Each cup bears on its reverse the signature of R. Bonhomme as well as the mention "Emaux d'art - Limoges" in gold letters.
