The white enameled dial is decorated with blue Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, surrounded by an elegant pearl border.
The upper part is surmounted by a sculpted gilt bronze dog, represented proudly posed, symbol of fidelity and vigilance, accompanied by a barrel. *
