Overall measurements with the older 18th century Italian frame are 80 cm x 50 cm x 8 cm and the painting measured at sight measures 22 cm x 18 cm

A most beautifully painted 19th century oil-on-board depiction of the Madonna based on a work by Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino.

The painting is housed within an older 18th century gilt Italian frame which has considerable value in its own right. As per the notes below we offer the frame as a gift.

We believe the painting is by a Florentine School painter of the 19th century.

Condition report:

The painting is in excellent original condition and has been professionally cleaned. There are no repairs to the painting.

The beautiful hand carved earlier 18th century Italian gilded frame has been repaired with well-blended restoration and has its own beauty and intrinsic value.
