Charming Louis XVI style trumeau in carved and patinated natural wood, made at the very end of the 19th century. The picture on our mirror is a painting on panel representing a still life with summer fruits. It is signed F.Yvoy. The mirror is beveled and has some small, but not serious, oxidations (see photo 11). It is surrounded by pretty pearl work and a ribboned frieze all around. The back of this trumeau has parquet flooring. Overall in beautiful house condition, well patinated. We note some minor paint losses which blend in very well with the overall colors (see photo 6).
