Santiago Jose Chierico (1891-1974) - representative of Argentine sculptors. He studied at the Talleres de Decoracion de la Nacion. From 1920, he participated in national art salons, during which he exhibited individual and collective works. He received several awards for his works, including the Acquisition Prize at the Salon de La Plata, which he won in 1922. Over time, he accepted the position of director of the Sculpture Workshop of the School of Fine Arts and Decorative and Industrial Arts, belonging to the National University of Tucumán.
