Bust of a young woman, placed on a slender base. Her delicate face is crowned by a high hairstyle, stylized in the form of sinuous foliage. Signature: Ant. Nelson .
Antoine Nelson (born in 1849) - French artist of Belgian origin. He took his first steps in the family sculpture workshop. He then continued his studies at the Dortmund Academy. From 1867, he stayed in Paris, London and Brussels. He is mainly known for his Art Nouveau busts of women.
