August Moreau (1834–1917)—a French sculptor from a family of artists. His father and his older brothers, Hippolyte and Mathurin, were all dedicated to crafting metal figures. In 1861, he made his debut at the Salon, where he regularly exhibited his works until 1913. He specialized in pastoral and allegorical representations.
