African Ebony Wood Sculpture – “tree Of Life”

Traditional African sculpture carved from dense black wood, most likely ebony. It depicts a group of interlocking human figures in a vertical composition evoking family or tribal unity. The large face at the top often symbolizes an elder or clan leader. Each figure is finely carved, demonstrating meticulous craftsmanship. Probable origin: East or Central Africa (Tanzania, Congo, Kenya). Handcrafted, circa mid-20th century. Wood with a natural black patina, with a visible crack under the base (without weakening the structure). Dimensions: height 30 cm – width 12 cm.
