"Art Deco Glazed Stoneware Vase – France, Circa 1930"
Elegant glazed stoneware vase dating from the 1930s, typical of the Art Deco period. The slightly raised decoration represents stylized floral motifs, combined with a vertical band of geometric motifs in relief. The speckled glaze in shades of verdigris and brown gives the whole a sober and refined finish. This vase is probably the work of a French workshop or an independent ceramist active during the interwar period. The stamp intaglio under the base (stylized diamond) remains to be identified, but reinforces the hypothesis of a careful artistic production. Period: Art Deco, circa 1930 Material: Glazed stoneware Condition: Very good condition, no chips or cracks Dimensions: height 30 cm Decorative piece of good quality, typical of French modernist productions of the early 20th century.
