Very beautiful fixed under glass from the 18th century, a French school, representing a couple of shepherds at dusk with their animals in an architectural setting. It is inspired by pastoral scenes of the time with a slightly naive treatment, especially for the sheep, the cow and the faces of the couple. The whole is very decorative with very fresh colors. Some very small lacks of paint are to be regretted, but it is not at all shocking! It is in good condition and has its old brown and gold frame, which harmoniously highlights it. Dimensions with the frame: 28 x 36 cm. The back is made of a wooden board.
