Very pretty watercolor depicting the Place de la Concorde in Paris after the Second World War, in 1948. View of the Hôtel de la Marine. Located in Paris lower left and signed lower right Vincenzo Vinciguerra (1922-2021). Vincenzo Vinciguerra was an artist and cultural promoter who represented Sicily and the Sicilian spirit for almost a century. He died at the age of 99. His works are in numerous public organizations and private collections, he exhibited in renowned art galleries in Milan, Rome, Venice, La Spezia, S. Sebastiano (Spain) and Cannes (France). He received numerous distinctions, including the 1st international prize "Artisti per l'Europa" won at the Biennale d'Arte in La Spezia or the Benemerenza Civica on the occasion of the Provincia in Festa for the 150th anniversary of Italian unification.
