"Three Draw Telescope, Italy, 18th Century"
Three-fold travel telescope made of cardboard, burgundy leather, and horn. It is unsigned but Italian, dating from the late 18th century or circa 1800. The telescope measures 85 cm open and 31 cm closed. Good original and working condition. The instrument retains its two horn caps and its period optics, not achromatic. Some superficial damage to the horn. The second tube is a little fragile when you want to fold it up, otherwise very good condition.
