Length: 8.5cm (3.4in)
Depth: 6.5cm (2.5in)
Height: 3.5cm (1.4in)
Condition: Good. Two areas of minor damage (see red boxed sections in images), neither particularly noticeable. The lid closes but does not catch.
Shipping: Free to most destinations worldwide. If your destination does not show free shipping, please ask.
Niello is made by fusing silver, copper, and lead, then mixing this with sulfur to fill between designs engraved on the surface of a metal, usually silver, object, then polished. The contrast of the black niello and silver surface produces an attractive decorative effect.
