"Ghent 1845-1868, Sterling Silver Crown, Womanizers Silversmith Virginie De Vinck"
A very pretty crown for a statue of the Blessed Virgin or Christ Child, made of solid silver, in perfect condition. A remarkable detail: the master silversmith's mark belongs to Virginie De Vinck, a silversmith and goldsmith merchant in Ghent between 1845 and 1875. The hallmark is the Belgian Minerva, in effect between 1831 and 1868. Weight: 45 grams.
