Baccarat - Night Service In Enameled And Gilded Opaline With Japanese-style Decoration

Soapy opaline night service enhanced with Japanese-style motifs of flowers and foliage gilded with fine gold and richly enameled in shades of green, blue and pink. It is composed of a water carafe, a lemon balm carafe, a water glass, a sugar bowl and a tray. Beautiful production of the Baccarat house, Napoleon III period circa 1870. Production from the mid-19th century, unsigned. We sold an orientalist-style night service whose carafes were of the same model and some pieces still bore the Baccarat label. Collector's set in very good condition. No accidents. Very fresh gilding with very slight local wear, the enamel is intact. Rare in this beautiful condition and complete.
