French school of the 18th century, portrait of an aristocratic lady circa 1760 - 1770. Oil on canvas in its Louis XVI style frame in gilded wood with gold leaf. End of the Louis XV period or very beginning of the Louis XVI period. The portrait work of a woman painter bears a beautiful signature in full Melle Porcher, it is dated 1768.
