"Large Empire Period Console Table In Mahogany, Gilt Bronze And Blue Turquin Marble - 129cm"
Large console table with columns or serving table in mahogany veneer and gilt bronze trim, opening with a drawer in the belt. Made entirely in Paris on blond oak, late Empire period. If the column model is a great classic of the Empire style, our console is a very beautiful model of the genre with all the luxurious finishes that enthusiasts seek and which differentiate it from a common model: beautiful trim of finely chiseled bronzes and mercury gilt in matte and shiny - rings of the columns. It is topped with a luxury blue Turquin marble in gray color. It is an ideal piece of furniture for an entrance, to use as a serving table in a dining room or as a console in a living room. Everything is from the Empire period: original marble, bronzes and of course thick sawn mahogany. A great classic of Empire furniture, a model with elegant proportions and beautiful finishes. Our console is in very good condition: original french polish revived and repolished by our cabinetmaker. The bronzes have been cleaned, the mercury gilding with slight wear. The marble is in good condition and original (not shortened at the back, it can therefore protrude if the console is placed against a plinth). Width: 129cm Depth: 46cm Height: 91cm
