Beautiful opaline wine decanter—Baccarat crystal, Napoleon III period, second half of the 19th century, circa 1870.
Balloon-shaped, our decanter is white and adorned with a Japanese-inspired floral motif in polychrome enamel, accented with gold scrollwork and fillets.
An antique piece, it does not bear the crystal manufacturer’s signature.
A beautiful collector’s item, rare and in excellent condition. The gilding is fresh with very slight signs of wear. No chips or scratches. a small chip on the stopper (see last picture)
