Pair of large gilded bronze candlesticks or torches, Louis XVI style in gilded bronze with rich pattern of roughened flutes, rows of pearls, gadroons, acanthus leaves. Our torches are a reissue of an 18th century model made around 1850 under Napoleon III. Very beautiful fine gold gilding in matte and shiny. They are composed of 3 independent pieces, entirely in bronze gilded with fine gold in matte and shiny (bronze only, no brass parts). Beautiful collector's item ideal for a Louis XVI 18th or Napoleon III decor. Spectacular for the quality of their decoration, gilding and very large format. Very good condition, the gilding is superb (refurbished in the 19th century). Height: 30cm
