Pair Of Gilt Bronze And Onyx Cassolette Candlesticks. 19th Century
Pair of candlesticks in cassolette and onyx, gilt bronze, Louis XVI style. Circa 1850. The base is composed of three sabot feet on a base with pearl threads.
The central baluster is in onyx, decorated with acanthus leaves topped with rams' heads.
The lid is reversible with a decoration of pine cones topped with an onyx lid.
On the other, a candlestick decorated with a frieze of acanthus leaves and pearls
Height x Width = 20 x 8 cm.
Excellent condition, mid-19th century.
