Elegant Empire-style console table in mahogany and flamed mahogany veneer, resting on four freestanding columns with finely chiseled bronze rings gilded with gold leaf. The lines are simple and powerful, characteristic of First Empire furniture.

It features a large front drawer, which retains its original clover-shaped key lock. The side panels are adorned with gilded bronze lyre motifs, while the columns are fitted with beautiful fluted gilded bronze bands. The piece is topped with an original white marble top, perfectly complementing the elegance of this console table.

The lower mahogany-veneered crossbar adds stability and refinement to the piece.

The piece features exquisite cabinetmaking, with a magnificent flamed mahogany veneer boasting particularly decorative grain patterns. It is in excellent condition, with a beautiful original patina.
