English mahogany folding table – 19th century

Elegant English mahogany folding table, 19th century.

A very attractive piece with a particularly light and refined design. The base is adorned with openwork panels featuring crossbars, joined by a low crossbar. Some of the legs are fitted with small antique casters.

Its ingenious folding mechanism allows it to remain extremely narrow when closed—just 20 cm deep—and then unfold to provide a 76.5 cm tabletop.

The mahogany features a beautiful warm color and striking grain, which is particularly visible on the tabletop. This table is both decorative and highly practical thanks to its compact size when folded.
