Mahogany Mirror Cabinet, Period, 19th Century Restoration
Mahogany ice cabinet
Restoration period - France, 19th century
Elegant mahogany and flame mahogany veneer mirror cabinet from the Restoration period, featuring a sober and harmonious silhouette characteristic of 19th century French furniture.
The front opens with a large door adorned with a beveled antique mirror, framed by wide uprights of beautiful proportions. A drawer at the bottom completes the set, resting on turned legs and topped by a molded cornice with elegant lines.
The mahogany veneer reveals superb flamed veining with deep, warm reflections, particularly visible on the cornice and drawer front.
The wardrobe currently functions as a closet, offering a fine volume of storage. However, it is possible to add additional shelves according to needs and desired use.
