A very elegant bench made of solid walnut, in the Directoire style, dating from the 18th century.

This piece features a remarkable backrest composed of three molded panels, framed by straight posts, as well as beautiful, crook-shaped side armrests with soft, elegant lines. The frame rests on four straight legs, lending the piece a beautiful simplicity characteristic of furniture from this period.

The walnut displays a superb warm, deep patina, with beautiful nuances and signs of wear that attest to its age.
