Important six-light gilt bronze candelabra, Louis XV style – 19th century. Superb finely chased and gilt bronze candelabra with six lights. It features a rich rocaille decoration with foliate scrolls and acanthus leaves, in the 18th-century style. The slender, undulating baluster stem rests on a shaped base with a vegetal motif in high relief. The sinuous arms extend elegantly from a central axis surmounted by a foliate motif. French work from the second half of the 19th century, Napoleon III period. Very high quality of casting and chasing. Beautiful old gilding. Strong decorative presence. Height: 60 cm Width: 38 cm
