Turkmen Beshir wool rug – circa 1950Elegant hand-knotted rug, of Turkmen origin (Ersari tribe or Beshir area), made around 1950–1970. Made of pure naturally spun and dyed wool, it features a typical decoration of geometric diamond-shaped guls framed by stylized floral borders. Traditional kilim finish at the ends.
